| No he didn't say anything about that. I'll call right now and ask the vet about it. Thanks Rayna! If anyone else has any info or questions I'll ask my vet as well. I just want to get him healthy and up to speed and cover everything so that theirs no speed bumps setting us back. |

| its a shame it is a great example of a iggi. talk to a vet watch him/her real close. make sure it isint mites. but it could be stress also. that is from me sad to see . though animals for me are like humans. humans that need us to take care of them. like my own kids |

| We moved in hope it would stop but that's a BIG no. It's like that stalk us. It really don't matter but seriously a pet isn't something you just get then throw away. |

| Your vet may recommend putting some Povidone/Iodine solution on it. Im glad you are seeing the vet today. You will definitely need to keep him on newspaper or paper towels til that heals over. I agree the vet will probably prescribe antibiotics as it looks infected- and the blackened necrotic tissue will need to be removed.
I am guessing his first owners spent a lot of time with it when it was young, or someone along the way, since its so puppy dog tame. And even when it heals itll have some pretty nasty scarring. But he is beautiful, and I am glad he found his way into your care. and Pfft, 50 bucks looking that bad?!? Id be tellin that person she is lucky I dont call animal care and control to report her for cruelty. You dont get that kind of rubbing injury over night. ( My ex step dad let that exact thing happen to his boas after my parents divorced because he was going over the deep end with drug and alcohol addiction I was P...err right...kids. Words I cannot use are the only ones seem fitting. Lets just say I lost what little respect I had for him then. |

| Thank you KIM!!! I'll call my vet right now that might help during bath soaking as I was think just water and a bit of soap wasn't going to do much. |

| That is simply horrible That person had some nerve asking for money. I hope you have contacted animal control to let them know about this. I know most states/counties/cities have different laws/statutes regarding animal abuse and neglect. She (?) needs to be listed as an animal abuser. Too bad there isn't a nationwide network you can post her face on and tell little Rex's story. Are there any updates on this fella? |
