PostSubject: Refused mice   Sat Dec 10, 2011 9:48 pm

I bought my boy Mac (Bp) his 3 mice for dinner tonight. He isn't interested in eating. I think he is have the loving feeling. My question is What can I do with the mice. I have no idea how to care for them. I hate so bad to have to knock them out if you know what I mean. Should I try again tomorrow and see if he has changed his mind. He is usually a good eater. Thanks

just give them some food, bedding and water. and toss them in 10g tank

Should always have a holding tank for them incase someone dont eat.

What's the best kind of food to feed them. And this might sound stupid but will they drink water out of a bowl for now. Thanks

they might but its bad for them. What they will do is fil it with bedding and have no water.

Any rodent block you can buy from feed stores, not petstore food

Mac decided tonight he was hungry. I hope I will be prepared a little better if it happens again. Thanks for your help. I did look online at our local Tractor Supply and feed store the only thing I saw for mice and rats was something to kill them with. Is that what the stuff is called Rodent block.

Usually called Rodent Lab Block but just go to a feed store and ask where the rodent food is at.

TSC dont carry rodent food as their not a feed store.
