Dr Stahl is one of the best Reptile Vets in Country.

A lot of breeders ship them their sick reptiles, where he will care for and house them till they are treated. Once healthy, their shipped back

day 30 was thursday. instead of taking her out to give her a shot on friday i took her out and tried to feed her, she showed 0 interest. i emailed the vet last week and hes a goof, he hasnt responded. the spit doesnt bubble out of her mouth any more but its still there. all the weight i got back on her since i got her is gone she is once again a bag of bones. i dont know what to do. i wanna give her a week off these dam meds and get her to eat, but i fear she will go back a step if i do.
anyone got any opinion on what i should do, besides tell the vet to go f@ck himself.

Dont take her out to feed, keep her in her cage, drop in a live sm rat and shell eat it.

But like i said 30 days of continuous use of baytril is too much on their bodies. Why you need to give a rest period to her body can rest.. Otherwise she may not want to eat.

i hear you, and i want her off the meds too but i worry about whatever bacteria she has becoming resistant to the baytril.
i wont give her live she strikes like a retard, i think she is a snake that has had f/t her whole life, i dont even think she could kill her regular meals and smaller meals would be tricky for even an experienced killer.

Its instinct, They will do it and then some.

She needs a week at leat off meds to relax her organs. Then start a whole new series of injections NOT oral.

Baytril is most effective when given in injections just under the skin 1/3rd way down. Oral takes too long and sometimes does nothing.
