This lil gem is day 48 and should be coming out in next 5 days as its flipped with head ontop.

Sure hope its female as im tired of producing males.

No it still in the egg with head fully out yawning a lot. taking its sweet time coming on out.

Yea was just laying on the substrate then back in egg. Seems its slowly working up courage to come out into the world.

Ive never understood why hatchlings Yawn a lot when hatching

Just an observation.... My Pythons yawn a lot when they smell the rodents come into the snake room. My opinion (NOT educated, just mine...LOL) is that they are "testing/tasting" the air. Maybe that`s what the hatchlings are doing...Trying to gather info from the air around them?????

I have no idea, As ive seen some do it and some not. This lil guy seems shy as it comes out half way, then back in.

Hmmmmm....In my experience, males are more shy than females. (Please don`t throw anything at me...LOL) I`m just messing with You. I really hope it`s your female :-)

I guess we shall see. Getting active more and more after rest periods. So once out ill know its sex.
