| horrible pic but ive been told its a lamproptus triangulus giagae, true black milksnake, they go from that to dark black, i got her from the breeder and saw both parents, black as night. ill get a better photo for you, you can actually already see black dots. my crappy camera fooled you, first for everything. |

| Ive never seen one that color. Ive always seen the black from hatching. Colubrids always do crazy things |

| they call it octogenic (misspelled) color change. hasnt shed yet so i have no idea how it works, looks like these black spots get bigger. i dunno cause my everglades is colour change as well,but he gets oranger i dont know how this turning black will occur. you would think neither color would be good in the wild right? black or orange. crazyness thats why i love em. ill get some close up pics as soon as i can. |
