hi everybody im keith im from windsor ontario, i have always been fascinated with snakes but because of my parents irrational fears was never allowed. well i recently moved out and now have dove in to the wonderful world of herps and its awesome. currently i have a chilean rose hair tarantula, 8 japanese fire belly newts, an 08 ball python that im told is normal but hes not normal hes awesome, i also have a baby everglades rat snake. i am always online trying to read as much as i can about my pets and appreciate any tips or advice anyone is willing to give, so please feel free to message me anything anytime thanks.

One thing in your collection that hates me are rat snakes, especially everglades and black rats. I must have a bite me sign over head or something.

some sites are a pain in the butt to add pics thats y i didnt even try last night kinda just wanted to get registered and check it out first, but now i have found even a monkey like me can post pics, im no good with computers. my avatar pic is my 08 normal, this pic was taken when he was the biggest he has ever been he was about 980 grams there, sadly he has lost alot of weight and im begginng to worry currently he weighs 905ish he hasnt eaten since new years day. thats kinda how i found this site i was talking with rich on another site, that site sucked you would post and wait sometimes a week for a reply i can already tell i like this site i posted last night and already have two replys. im going to try to add more pics to my profile check em out. thanks

i like this site you guys are on it, some others are pretty bad. my snake is very timid so i call him the chicken snake and all week my brother and i have been walking around saying wow its warm out chicken feels like spring and it finally worked he ate for me tonight. i know i had nothing to do with him eating but i think its pretty funny. about more pics i have used photo bucket before so im sure ill be able to figure it out ill get on it tommorow. the chickens fast is over !! maybe he heard me typing that i was worried to you guys, whatever the heck it was im glad it worked.thanks

I think it is very cool that you were able to do a mindshift on chicken so he thought it is spring and started eating again. I also found this forum very responsive. Glad you are here.

yeah it was pretty funny the day after he ate it was snowing outside and we kept it up but its hard when you are laughing your ass off. there is a commercial on tv right now and the guy keeps saying chicken thursday, chicken thursday, everytime this comes on i have to tell my snake what the real day is, am i crazy?

still cant get all my pics on here but my new avatar is especially for rich. this is psycho #2, he is an everglades rat snake, horrible pic but i wanted to show just how tuff he thinks he is, hes all cocked back like a cobra, the other day for the first time while i was holding him he got so mad that he actually rattled his tail, he thinks hes a rattle snake now. he is getting better but still everytime i handle him i get bit but no blood yet, the day he draws blood in gonna put some ink in the bit mark, my first tattoo. he is still gray and splotchy super excited to see him change colors. well that psycho #2
